The plant is operating on AB#1 in which the same upgrades were performed last year. This project will include replacement of the drive system for primary clarifier#1 later this summer. • Export system: we have continued the $4.3 million pump motor replacement and station controls upgrade project at the Luther Pass pump station. We are in the final testing and commissioning stages now. Wastewater Conveyance System • Sewer Pump Stations o A temporary vacuum device was hooked up to manually suck out Vacuum Valve Station #4 septic tank. This was done due to collapse of the 60 gallon fiberglass tank (sump) caused by heavy water saturation from the 2017 storms. o Core drilled holes in the septic vault for future discharge lines and electrical lines for Vacuum Valve Station #4 o Poured cement on top of the septic vault for future Electrical Panel. • Collection System o 85 feet of existing 24" main was lined with 22" PVC from Tahoe Keys M.H. #1 to the Tahoe Keys Pump Station o Installed two, 2" poly lines at Fallen Leaf Lake. The run was from WS4 to the main station, approximately 500 feet. Also installed two other 2" lines the same distance to be taken up to WS 3 after Labor Day. WS4 is now an electrical station. Alpine County Disposal Facilities • Thomas Haen Company continues to work on the District's Diamond Valley Ranch Irrigation Improvements Project, Phase 1. • On May 31st a leak was discovered on the 24" inverted siphon that's part of the Diamond Ditch conveyance system. The siphon was isolated and Rob Tucker with Lahontan was notified. The 24" siphon will be isolated for the remainder of the irrigation season and all recycled water conveyed via the Diamond Ditch will be sent through the 30" siphon. The District will be assessing the condition of the 24" siphon in the near future to map out a course of action for its immediate repair and future improvements. Blank :Method Blank-Prepared to verify that the preparation process is not contributing contamination to the samples. LCS :Laboratory Control Standard/Sample-Prepared to verify that the preparation process is not affecting analyte recovery. MS :Matrix Spikes-A random sample is spiked with a known amount of analyte. The recoveries are an indication of how that sample matrix affects analyte recovery. MSD :Matrix Spike Duplicate of MS/MSD pair-A random sample duplicate is spiked with a known amount of analyted. The recoveries are an indication of how that sample matrix affects analyte recovery. MSRPD :MS/MSD Relative Percent Difference(RPD)-The MS relative percent difference is an indication of precision for the preparation and analysis. ND :Non-detect-Result was below the DQO listed for the analyte. DQO :Data Quality Objective-This is the criteria against which the quality control data is compared. Explanation 325 :The LCS was out of acceptance limits. Results may be biased low. 435 :Sample matrix may be affecting this analyte.Data was accepted based on the LCS or CCV recovery.
