The District is reporting as required by the Wastewater Reclamation Permit (Board Order R6T-2004-0010A3, WDID No. 6A095900700). Wastewater Reclamation Permit'Board Order R6T-2004-0010A1). The effluent met all the requirements set forth in the Board Order for this quarter; there were no violations. Emergency Retention Basin (ERB) A total of 5.89 MG of wastewater was pumped to the ERB at the end of the month in September 2018. This was done during a plant upset which has since been resolved. There was 5.89 MG of wastewater in the ERB on September 30, 2018. The ERB was drained back to 0 MG during the first week of October 2018. The ERB was inspected on July 19, 2018 and on September 12, 2018; the reports are attached. Export Pipeline The District's Final effluent export pipeline route was not inspected this quarter. Wastewater Reclamation Permit Compliance This monitoring program provides for continuous surface water monitoring, except during the months of December, January and February when only SW-01, SW-05, and SW-06 are monitored. LRWQCB - Page 2 Operational Problems or Major Maintenance Activities Modifications and operational problems occurring during this quarter are detailed in the section titled Operational Problems and Major Maintenance Activities in this report. Notes Sampling and analysis problems for offsite sample locations are listed in the Sample Comments section. The plant has since recovered and the water from the ERB was returned and exported to our facilities in Alpine County. • The 2 year project to replace Break Point Structure and Plant Generator continued. Wastewater Conveyance System • Sewer Pump Stations o Tank #2 at Luther Pass Pump Station was taken off-line due to tank leaking. Crack around the base of the overflow stand pipe tank was welded and coated. Tank #2 was put back on-line. o Carbon Scrubber was added to Main Fallen Leaf Sewer Pump Station for odor control o Pump #1 Element at Tahoe Keys Sewer Pump Station was replaced with a rebuilt Element. o Fallen Leaf Sewer Pump Station #8 was changed over from a vacuum system into an electric pump system. o Pump #3 at Luther Pass Pump Station was rebuilt and put back on-line. o Pump #2 Element at Trout Creek Sewer Pump Station was removed and replaced with a rebuilt Element. o Wet well doors at Ski Run Sewer Pump Station were removed, repaired and reinstalled. • Collection System o No major maintenance activities or problems reported. Alpine County Disposal Facilities • There were no modifications or additions to, or any major maintenance or construction conducted on, or any major problems occurring at the disposal facilities in Alpine County from July thru September 2018.
