Hi Ivo – a few edits (the dimension labels of the red box were a little off, so I corrected them). Also, I
added a bit of description/differentiation between the drilling phase and the well
development/aquifer testing phase. I’m checking with Eddy to see if weekend drilling/testing is an
option to see if we can help avoid site access impacts to Liberty- I’ve got a call at 1 -2:30 (which can
be interrupted) and at 4 but it would be good to discuss. Thanks! Sachi

Sachi-
Storage Tanks – I would recommend that we plan on using 500-bbl. Frac Tanks for temporary fluid
containment. These could be rented from Carson Pump. I would suggest set-up of the Frac Tank (s)
within the CSLT ROW along the north shoulder of Eloise Avenue.

Sachi-
Please review and feel free to add further detail, as needed.
We may also want to provide a PDF of the draft work plan as an attachment for Liberty/CSLT
consideration.

Tech Info for LS600 Rig.

Hi Eddy-
Can you please confirm the drilling equipment and support vehicles that are proposed for use under
the attached quote from Cascade Drilling.
Looking at the technical specs for the LS250 and LS600 rigs, it looks like the MiniSonic Rig (LS250)
could possibly meet our needs, if the drilling program could be completed using a telescoped bore
hole, drilled using 12” Drill Casing to 100’; and 8” Drill Casing below 100’ to TD (150 feet). Given the
Recent PCE Results (see App C of Work Plan), it is likely that the 8” Test Well would be constructed
to a depth of less than 100 feet.
The footprint of the MiniSonic Rig (~18.5’) is almost ½ of the full-size LS600 Rig (~31.5’). With its
smaller size it would be easier to Mob/DeMob ; have a lower ground pressure (protecting underlying
pavement); and would require less support equipment.
Please let me know ASAP, as I want to provide the Technical Information on the Sonic Drilling
equipment proposed for the PDI to Liberty Utilities for their review and consideration.
Thanks,
