Arrived onsite at 7:30 Vinciguerra crew setting up to excavate main line at Bobby Grey, and placing services on
Bobby Grey.
A Cat 304D was used to dig the trench for the new tie in locations as well as the services.
The crew placed fittings for tie in and secured tracer wire with tape, then wrapped in plastic and placed concrete
for thrust blocks according to drawing specifications as well as 9” min sand around service connections.

No sign of leaking was found.
After backfill and compaction base and native was found to be firm and non yielding.
Vinciguerra crew placed 104’ of non restrained DR14 (out of DR18) on Bobby Grey including 1 90 and 1 8” T Valve
at Bobby grey and bowers.
They also placed 161’ of unrestrained DR14 (out of DR18) on Bowewrs between Bill and Shirley.
During excavation of Bobby grey the crew discovered that the existing water main at Bobby grey and bowers near
1142 bowers was a 2” main (6” shown on plans). The crew also discovered an additional 2” valve near the hydrant
at same location. Vinciguerra discussing with Adrian a as built plan for this location.
MJ Gate valve was installed at bowers and Bill as discussed with Adrian.
I reminded Casey that a service at 1133 Bowers was the wrong size and he had his crew replace it with the correct
1” service.
