Arrived on-site at 7:45 Vinciguerra crew working on connecting services on Deer as well as connecting the tie in at
Forest and Ski Run.
Chlorine tests were taken on Bobby Grey at 10:30am, Shirley at 11:30am, and Bill at 11:40am. After testing the
lines were flushed.
During excavation on Deer Vinciguerra crew hit an active service causing a leak. Water service for that location
was shut off at 9:30 for repairs, service was turned back on at 10:00.
During excavation for tie in at ski run and forest Vinciguerra hit and damaged the pvc casing for a underground
power line. Casey was informed he would need to call Liberty power to repair the line. A Liberty power employee
arrived on-site at 2:10 to asses the damage to the line and called out a crew to make repairs.
Liberty power crew arrived on-site to make repairs at 3::40 and finished the repair at 4:10.
The trench at the end of Forest required extra depth of 3.5’ to clear all power and sewer services before reaching
tie in location.
A total of 58’ of DR14 was placed from Forest to the tie in on Ski Run and 3 45 degree elbows.
A Cat 304D was used to dig the trench for the new services, and a cat 314C was used to dig trench for tie in
located at Forest and Ski Run.
No sign of leaking was found. 9” min sand was placed around service connections.
After backfill and compaction base and native was found to be firm and non yielding.

Morgan, Sergio, Boone and Alex underground utility pipe fitters. Casey and Austin Vinciguerra were also on-site.
Equipment on-site- 2 Cat 314C excavators, Cat 304E mini excavator, Case 570 MXT tractor, Cat 299D skid
steer, 3 10 wheelers.
