CME personnel arrived onsite to perform observation and testing as the Vinciguerra crew continued to work on
the Bowers and Bijou waterline replacement projects.
Arrived onsite at 8:00am and found that the Vinciguerra crew was jackhammering out valves on both the Bijou
and Bowers projects with a pour tentatively scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. A couple of crew members were
working on raising the remaining hydrants that needed to be brought up to grade. The hydrants being raised today
were the ones that needed to be brought up 12”, the 6” ones had been done previously.
Taylor with STPUD came to site and began to measure up paving quantities, he worked mostly on Fairway
today.
The patch at 3520 Cloverdale was prepped for paving as the cars were not in the way. It is still uncertain when
paving will take place.
At the Cold Creek project the Haen crew continued to pot hole. The high pressure gas was located on the mark
and 3’ BFG, the gas service was on the mark 29” BFG. They also found the water service that started on the mark
and moved parallel to the trench before crossing it. They plan to begin excavation tomorrow.
