Arrived on-site at 8:00am and found that the Vinciguerra crew continued to perform general cleanup on-site and also began to work on punch list for both projects. Numerous items on the punch list were completed with the major exception being the pavement at the Fairway and Glenwood (north) intersection. There were areas that had been painted out but the contractor did not follow the marks and it still needs to be done. This means that a manhole and 3 valves will have to be lowered and paved over and raised with concrete collars poured before the punch list is to considered completed. At the Cold Creek project the Haen crew continued work for the new 8” PVC waterline. They dug a bore pit in hopes of being able to run a service to 2658 Cold Creek. If they are unable to get the bore through the rocky material the contractor will have to open cut the service and dig in the roadway. The bore was successful and the poly was pulled for the service. The contractor also loaded the line to perform the pressure test. The line needs to hold 150 psi for 2 hours. Taylor with STPUD was going to stay and track the time and pressure. Chlorine was added to water that was loaded so that the contractor could get a start on the bacteria testing that they hope will get started tomorrow. The line will have to be flushed prior to the beginning of the bacteria testing.
