CME personnel arrived onsite to perform observation and testing as the Vinciguerra crew continued to work on
the Bowers and Bijou waterline replacement projects, as well as the Haen crew on Cold Creek also working on
waterline replacement.
Arrived onsite at 8:00am and found that the Vinciguerra crew had not arrived onsite and ran over to the Cold
Creek project.
At the Cold Creek project the Haen crew continued work on the new 8” PVC waterline. The crew was working
on the preparation for the saddle placement on the 19” waterline running north/south on Pioneer Trail. The
contractor will install the saddle and a STPUD crew will perform the live tap in. This will all happen under the under
the watchful eyes of the gas company as they need to present anytime you dig within 5’ of the high pressure gas
line. The contractor will also have to give them at least 1’ of clearance with the new 8” waterline that they hope to
place under the gas. The crew exposed the pipe and started to work on removing the mastic that was protecting
the pipe. It was not easy but they were able to remove it.
Went back to the Bijou project and met Adrian with STPUD and we walked the site noting the services and if
they had a new G-5 or an old one. We also took note of the alignment in which the pipe was placed on the streets
as it varies from what the plans show. The Vinciguerra crew is supposed to be onsite tomorrow working the
Fairway and Glenwood intersection and complete a few more punch list items.
