NOTICE TO PROCEED
TO: WHITE ROCK CONSTRUCTION, INC.
PROJECT: KELLER-HEAVENLY WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, PHASE 3
TYPE OF CONTRACT: CONSTRUCTION
AMOUNT OF CONTRACT: $4,457,288.25
You are hereby notified to commence work on the referenced contract on July 27, 2022 and shall fully
complete all of the work of said contract within Three Hundred Thirty -Four (334) consecutive calendar
days thereafter. Your completion date is, therefore, June 26, 2023.
The Contract provides for intermediate milestones as specifically set forth in section
00 72 00 General Conditions, Part 2.04.13.1 of the Contract documents, and Liquidated Damages
have been identified in Section 00 72 00 General Conditions, Part 2.04.D if Contractor fails to meet
milestones and deadlines
Intermediate Milestone 1: Final asphalt paving operations, including trench path and mill and overlay
to the extents shown on the Plans, shall be completed prior to September 1, 2022 for the View Circle
water main, PRV sites, and Temporary Keller Booster Pump Station site.
Pursuant to the provisions under Liquidated Damages in Section 01 35 00, Special Procedures, of
these Contract Documents, Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) shall be the amount of
liquidated damages for every day of delay in the completion of earthwork -related activities. Two
Thousand Five -Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) shall be the amount of liquidated damages for every day
of delay in the completion of work.
