WEIDMAN ORDINANCE NO. 119 AN ORDINANCE DESCRIBING TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED, DETERMINING THAT NO ~TERMS AND COND~[TIONS ARE NECESSARY, AND DECLARING INTENTION TO APPROVE SUCH ANNEXATION ANNEXATION NO. 1965-5 (DONALD E. POTTER ET UX) BE IT ENACTED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District' E1 Dorado County, California, as follows: WHEREAS, a petition, at the date of presentation, signed by fifteen percent (15%) of the qualified electors who are also a majority of the electors, residing in, ~ud who are also owners of a majority of the assessed valuation, of certain unincorporated territory, cont~Qms to the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT and being in the same County as said District, asking that said territory be annexed to said District and consenting to such annexation without an election, was addressed to the Board of Directors and filed with the Secretary of the District on the 7th day of June, 1965, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Utility District Act of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the said Secretary has caused to be compared the signatures on said petition with the affidavits on file witk the County Clerk of the County of E1 Dorado, and has found and certified to this Board that said petition has been signed by th required number of and a majority of said electors in said territory, and has attached his signature to the said petition and presented said petition to this Board; and WHEREAS, prior to the circulation and filing of said petition the El Dorado County Local Agency Formation Commission, on May 18' 1965, approved the proposal of annexation of the territory described herein° NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 15 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 24 25 26 27 28 29 $0 51 52 .II, MN r~. It is hereby determined that the annexation of said territory will facilitate the acquisition, construction, completion and operation of the public utility and public utility works of the District, and will be for the advantage of said District and the territory proposed to be annexed will be benefit~ by said proposed annexation. Section 2. It is hereby dete~nined that no terms and conditions for such annexation are necessary. Section 3. The exterior boundaries of said territory to be annexed are described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached and made a part hereof by reference. Section 4o It is hereby' declared to be the intention of this Board to approve said annexation. Section 5. Thursday, the 5th day of August, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. 1~{., at the regular meeting place of said District, Tahoe Valley Fire House, Seuth Tahoe, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing on this Ordinance, and all persons interested in or who may be affected by the proposed annexation of said territory within the District are hereby notified to appear at such meeting and show cause in writing, if any they have, why said territory or any part thereof should not be annexed as proposed in said petition.
