WEIDMAN ORDINANCE NO. ll7 AN ORDINANCE DESCRIBING TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED, DETERMINING THAT NO TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE ~ECESSARY, AND DECLARING INTENTION TO APPROVE SUCH ~EXATION A EXATION NO. 1965-1 (JOH~SO~ -SPRINGMEYER-TREAT~ENT PLANT BE IT ENacTEd, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public UtilitY~ District, El. Dorado County, California, as fo llows: WHEREAS, a Petition signed by not less than fifteen per cent (15%) of the owners of the uninhabited territory proposed to be annexed who are also the owners of a majority of the assessed valuation of said territory in certain unincorporated territory contiguous to the South Tahoe Public Utility District, and being in the same County as said District, asking that said territory b$ annexed to said District and consenting to such annexation without an election, was addressed to the Board of Directors and filed with the Secretary of the District on the 18th day of March, 1965, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Utility District Act of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the said Secretary has caused to be compared the signatures on said petition with the records of the County Assessor of the County of E1 Dorado, and has found and certified to this Board that said petition has been signed by the required number of owners in said territory, and has attached his signature to the said petition and presented said petition to this Board; and WHEREAS, prior to the circulation and filing of said petition the E1 Dorado County Local Agency Formation Commission, on January 5, 1965, by Order No. 2-65, approved the proposal of annexation of the territory described herein. 1 4 ? 8 10 11 1~ 14 1§ 18 20 21 ~0 drlHN ~. It is hereby determined that the annexatio of said territory will facilitate the acquisition, construction, completion and operation of the public utility and public utility works of the District, and will be for the advantage of said District and that the territory proposed to be annexed will be benefited by said proposed annexation. Section 2. It is hereby determined that no terms and conditions for such annexation are necessary. SectiOn 3. The exteriOr boundaries of said territory to be annexed are described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached and made a part hereof by reference. Section 4. It is hereby declared to be.~the intention of this Board to approve said annexation° Section 5. Thursday, the 1st day of July, 1965, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. ~., at the regular meeting place of said District, Tahoe Valley Fire House, South Tahoe, California, are hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing on this Ordinance, and all persons interested in or who ~ay be affected by the proposed annexation of said territory within the District are hereby notified to appear at such meeting and show cause in writing, if any they have, why said territory or any part thereof should not be annexed as proposed in said ~petition.
