INVITATION TO BID
The South Tahoe Public Utility District (STPUD) invites sealed bids
by electronic submission only for the construction of the Tahoe Keys
Pump Station Replacement Project.
Electronic Bids will be received until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 16,
2021. Hard copy original Bid Bond for other acceptable form of bid
security) MUST be delivered to District in advance of Bid deadline.
Bids submitted after ihis time will not be accepted by the electronic
bidding system. All bids that have been timely received will be Pub-
licly opened and the content read aloud at a virtual bid opening.

northeast corner at the intersection of Tahoe Keys Boulevard and
Venice Drive, in the City of South Lake Tahoe, In the County a[ ES
Dorado, California.
T1te work to be performed under this Can]rncl Includes the furnishing
of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the Tahoe Keys
Pump Station Replacement Project. The work generally consists at
the following: Demolition of the existing humps, discharge piping,
valves, electrical equipment and instrumentation control systems.
Construction of new wet well with three submersible chopper pumps,
valve/meter voull, manholes, piping. electrical equipment, fnstru-
mentotion and control systems, mechanical equipment, site Improve-
ments, and incoming and outgoing sewer piping connections.
All work associated with This contract shall include, but not be limit-
ed to mobilization/delnobilization; dewatering of excavation; sheet-
im shoring. and bracing of excavation: Construction of wet well and
valve/mMer vault; traffic control: erosion and sediment control;
cleaning; debris removal and disposal: verificatfon of pipe lengths.

Vendor Portal. For assistance in downloading these documents or

All bids are to be submitted electronically as required in Section 00 20
00 Instructions for Procurement. After electronic bidding, each bid-
der shall submit their original Bid Forms to South Tahoe Public Utili-
ty Dlsfrlcl al 1275 Meadow Crest Drive. South LoKe Tahoe, California
by 2:00 P.M on June 18, 2021.
Questions or comments regarding this project must be submitted
etectranically via our electronic bidding system and must be received

This project is being funded, in part, by the California Clean Water
State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program. The Contractor will be re-
quired to cempty with Stare and federal contract rules and regula-
tions including requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
(DBE) .and American Iron and Steel (AIS) us delailed in Sections 00
74 00 and 00 75 00 of the SPeclficaSiens. The Prime contractor is re-
quired to provide docurnenta]lon that the local U.S. Small Business
Administration (SBA) and/or The Minorlly Business Development
Agency (MBDA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce were notified
of the contracting copOrlunify at leas] thirty (30) calendar days prior
to the bid opening dole. A bid will be considered non -responsive un-
less it includes she forms required in Section 00 75 00 to be completed
and submitted with the Bid.
A mandatory virtual (online) pre -Bid Conference will be held using
GaToMeeling by the South Tahoe Public Utility District on Thursday,
May 13, 2011 of 10:00 am. Prospective bidders must RSVP for the P-

Any bidder absent from the Pre -Bid Conference shall have their bid
disqualified as non -responsive. A virtual four of the site of work will
be conducted as part of the Pre -Bid Conference.
In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code
section 33D0. the South Tahoe Public Utility District has delermined
that the bidder shall possess a valid class A contractor license of the
time of bid opening, the Contract is awarded and for the duration of
the Conlroct. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the
bid as non -responsive and shall act as a bar to awarding the contract
to any bidder not possessing said license at the time of award.

MENTS AS OUTLINED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
