AN ORDINANCE DESCRIBING TERRITORY
PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED,
DETERMINING THAT NO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ARE NECESSARY, AND DECLARING INTENTION
TO APPROVE SUCH ANNEXATION
ANNEXATION NO. 1964-3
BE IT ENACTED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
~HEREAS, a petition signed by not less than fifteen per
cent (15%) of the owners of the territory proposed to be annexed
who are also the owners of a majority of the assessed valuation
of said territory in certain unincorporated territory contiguous
to the South Tahoe Public Utility District, and being in the same
County as said District, asking that said territory be annexed to
said District and consenting to such annexation without an election,
was addressed to the Board of Directors and filed with the Secre-
tary of the District on the 6th day of August, 1964, in accordance
with the provisions of the Public Utility District Act of the
State of California~
¥~4EREAS, the said Secretary has caused to be compared the
signatures on said petition with the records of the County Assessor
of the County of E1 Dorado, and has found and certified to this
Board that said petition has been signed by the required number
of owners in said territory, and has attached his signature to
the said petition and presented said petition to this Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
Section 1. It is hereby determined that the annexation
of said territory will facilitate the acquisition, construction,
completion and operation of the public utility and public utility
works of the District, and will be for the advantage of said
District and that the territory proposed to be annexed will be
benefited by said proposed annexation.
Section 2. It is hereby determined that no terms and con-
ditions for such annexation are necessary.
Section ~. The exterior boundaries of said territory to
be annexed are described in Exhibit "A" hereto attached and made
a part hereof by reference.
Section 4. It is hereby declared to be the intention of
this Board to approve said annexation.
Section 5. Thursday, the 17th day of September~ 1964, at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the regular meeting place of
said District, Tahoe Valley Fire House, South Tahoe, California,
are hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing on this Ordin-
ance, and all persons interested in or who may be affected by the
proposed annexation of said territory within the District are
hereby notified to appear at such meeting and show cause in writing~
if any they have, why said territory or any part thereof should
not be annexed as proposed in said petition. The time fixed for
such hearing is not less than thirty nor more than sixty days
from the date of the publication of this Ordinance.
Section 6. This Ordinance, together with a notice, in
form a copy of which is hereto attached and made a part hereof
by reference, shall be published pursuant to Section 6061 of the
Government Code of the State of California~ to wit: Once in the
Tahoe Daily Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation printed
and published in the Districtj and shall be posted in three pub-
lic places in the territory proposed to be annexed at least thirty
days before the date set for said hearing.

division, as said lot is shown on the Official Map of said
Lakevlew Heights Subdivision, filed in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of E1 Dorado, State of
California, on September 3, 1947, in Map Book A, Map No. 70,
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of said Lot 16;
thence North 60 degrees 08' East 220 feet to the most north-
erly corner of said lot; thence South 29 degrees 50' 30" East
60 feet along the Southwesterly line of Mackedie Way to a
point; thence South 60 degrees 8' West 220 feet to a point
on the Southwesterly line of said lot; thence North 29 degrees
50' 30" West 60 feet along said lot line to the point of be-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for the annexation
of certain territory to the South Tahoe Public Utility District,
under the Public Utility District Act~ has been presented to the
Board of Directors of the said District; that on the 6th day of
August, 1964, the said Board of Directors adopted Ordinance No. ~~
An Ordinance Describing Territory Proposed to be Annexed, Determin-
ing that No Terms and Conditions are Necessary, and Declaring
Intention to Approve Such Annexation; that it has fixed Thursday,
