Ordinance No. 148 - RetiredWJML:RFR:dao 6/22/67 8c ORDINANCE NO. 148 AN ORDINANCE OF AWARD OF CONTRACT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. U-1 SCHEDULE II BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, said Board did in open session on the 15th day of June, 1967, publicly examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the work to be done and improvements to be made, as described and specified in Resolution of Intention No. 763 adopted by said Board on January 19, 1967, as amended, to which resolution reference is hereby made for a description of the work and improvements to be done and the materials, supplies and equipment to be furnished therefor; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: 1. That said Board hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids for Schedule II thereof, except that hereinafter mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing the work and improve- ments and furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder therefor, to wit: ROTHSCHILD, RAFFIN AND WEIRICK, INCORPORATED at the unit prices named in its bid. 2. That the President of said District is hereby authorized to make and enter into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the Clerk of said District is hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the corporate seal of said District. 3. This Ordinance shall be posted in three (3) public places in the District, and published once in the Tahoe Daily Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation in the District, at least seven (7) days prior to the expiration of thirty days from its passage.
