Ordinance No. 144ORDINANCE NO. 1 4 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBERED 2 AND 88 WITH RESPECT TO DEPOSIT OF FUNDS OF~THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT AND THE BOND OF THE,ASSISTANT TREASURER, AND PROVIDING FOR PAYING AGENCY AGREEMENTS BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorad° County, California, as follows: lo That all funds to pay principal and interest of any bonds of the District, except Revenue Bonds, shall be deposited with the Treasurer of E1 Dorado County, as ex-officio Treasurer of the Dis- trict. Bonds may be paid from said funds by said Treasurer through, and may be registered by, any paying and regSstration agent or agents acting for the County of E1 Dorado pursuant to a paying agency agree- ment entered into by said County, provided that the Board of Direc- tors of District approve and ratify such agreement with respect to applicability thereof to District's bonds. 2o That all income and receipts of the District, including proceeds of taxes levied by the District, excluding however said funds to be deposited with the Treasurer of E1 Dorado County as above provided~ shall be received by the Assistant Treasurer of the Dis- trict, who shall keep same in appropriate funds as provided by law or as heretofore or hereafter established by the District. Said in- come and receipts shall be deposited in state or national banks sit- uate within the boundaries of the South Tahoe Public Utility District° 3o That the Assistant Treasurer and Clerk of the SOuth Tahoe Public UtilitY District shall be included under the District's ex- isting Public Employees Blanke't Coverage Endorsement, insuring all employees bY'Faithful Performance Blanket Position Coverage, and any renewal or replacement thereof, in the indemnity amount of $10,000o00. 4o This ordinance amends only those provisions of Ordinances numbered 2 and 88 which are inconsistent herewith, and in all other respects Ordinances numbered 2 and 88 are hereby ratified, confirmed and shall remain in full force and effect. 5.
