AN ORDINANCE OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC UTILITY.WORKS SHALL BE ACQUIRED-
DISPOSAL FACILITIES ..... INDIAN CREEK PIPELINE
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY
DISTRICT have heretofore determined 'that the public interest and necessity of
'the District demands the acquisition of a DISPOSAL FACILITIES, consisting of
63,500 'lineal feet of 18 inch and 21 inch pipeline with necessary appurtenances.
WHEREAS, plans and specifications and estimates of the cost of
original cons'truction and comple'tion by 'the District of said public utility
works and estimates of the revenues that can be expected from said public
utility works have heretofore been presented to the Board of Directors of said
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, County of E1 Dorado, State of
California, as follows:
1. That 'the Board of Directors hereby deems i't is for the best
in'teres'ts of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, and 'therefore hereby
determines to acquire Disposal Facilities, Indian Creek Pipeline, consisting
of 63,500 lineal fee't of 18 inch and 21 inch pipeline with necessary appur'ten-
ances.
2o That the proposed cost of the acquisition of the foregoing public
utility works is the sum of $ ~,8~0,000.00
3. That the proposed me'thod and manner of payment of the cost
of acquisition of 'the foregoing public ~till'ty works is $.: :5_45,000.00
from a Federal gran't for treatment works under 33 U.S.C. 466 et seq. and
$ !.267_,000,00 out of revenues received from a loan from the State of
California, pursuant 'to Chapter 47, Statutes of 1966, First Extraordinary Session
of 'the State of California. The cost of said public works can be paid ou't of 'the

revenues of the District, derived from the operation of its public utilities
in addition to the other necessary expenses of 'the District, and 'that it
not necessary 'to incur a District bonded indebttedness.
4. This ordinance shall take effect 'thirty (30) days after 'the
period of publication of notice has terminated thereof, as set forth in
California Government Code Section 6066. This said Ordinance shall be
published in 'the Tahoe Daily Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the said District, once a week for 'two (2)
successive weeks wi'th at least five (5) days intervening between 'the
respective publication dates, not counting such publication dates. At least
one (1) week before 'the expiration of thirty (30) days after its final passage,
copies of said ordinance shall be posted by the Clerk of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District in at least three (3) public places in said District.
PASSED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of 'the Board of Directors
of 'the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT on 'the 6th day .of April 1967
by the following vote:
