Ordinance No. 138 - Superseded ORDINANCE NO. 1 3 8 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 24 and NO. 84 AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE WESTERN PLUMBING OFFICIAL ASSOCIATION "UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, 1964 EDITION, AND FURTHER REGULATING THE USE OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SEWERS, THE INSTALLATION OF SEWER LATERALS AND PUBLIC SEWER MAIN EXTENTIONS AND REGULATING PLUMBING, DRAINAGE, AND SEPARATE SEWERS IN THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, as follows: 1. Sec. 5.8. Separate Sewers of Ordinance No. 24 is hereby amended as follows: No two adjacent lots fronting on the same street shall be permitted to join in the use of the same side sewer. Every building or industrial facility must be separately connected with a public sewer if such public sewer exists in the street upon which the property abuts or in an easement which will serve said property. 2. Ordinance No. 84 is hereby superseded and nullified and that Ordinance No. 24 is hereby amended to incorporate by reference the provisions of the Western Plumbing Officials Association "Uniform Plumbing Code" 1964 Edition, a nationally accepted standard, published in book form, insofar as the provisions of said "Uniform Plumbing Code" relate to the regulation of the use of public and private sewers, the installation of sewer laterals and public sewer main extensions, and regulating plumbing drainage, and sewering, and said provisions are hereby adopted by reference, made a part of said Ordinance No. 1 3 8, as though set forth at length herein, for regulating the use of public and private sewers, the installation of sewer laterals and public sewer main extentions, and regulating plumbing, drainage, and sewering in the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT. It shall be unlawful to use public or private sewers, install sewer laterals and public sewer main extensions and plumbing, drainage and sewering in the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT in violation of or without complying with those applicable regulations set forth in said "Uniform Plumbing Code" Copies of such code shall shall be kept on file in the office of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT for inspection. and at least one week before expiration of said thirty (30) days. Copies of the Ordinance shall be posted by the Clerk of the South Tahoe Public Utility District at three (3) public places in said District and this Ordinance shall further be published in the TAHOE DAILY TRIB~UNE, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in said District one time only, at least one week before expiration of said period. 4. This amends Ordinance No. 84 in its entirety and supersedes and nullifies said Ordinance No. 84, and further specifically amends Sec. 5.8. of Ordinance No. 24, and in addition only those provisions of Ordinance No. 24, which are inconsistent with said Western Plumbing Officials Association "Uniform Plumbing Code", 1964 Edition, and does not amend Ordinance No. 81 amending said Ordinance No. 24. In all other respects, said Ordinance No. 24 and Ordinance No. 81 are hereby ratified, confirmed and remain in full force and effect.
