AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 162 AND ORDINANCE NO. 201 AND
PROVIDING FOR COMPENSATION, BENE-
FITS AND WORKING CONDITIONS FOR
ALL EMPLOYEES
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT, County of E1 Dorado, State of California, as follows:
1. That Subsection a.2.c, of Sect[on 20 - HOLIDAYS of ORDINANCE
NO. 162 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Regular employees required to work on a prescribed holiday
may accrue a day with pay in lieu of the holiday. The
accrued days cannot be used consecutively, except when
used for the purposes specified in Sect[on 23 b. of Ordinance
No. 162. All accrued days, as of the last payroll of the fiscal
year, shall be paid and no accrued days shall be carried past
the end of the fiscal year.
2. That Subsections a. 2 and 3 of Sect[on 22-VACATION LEAVE WITH
PAY. of ORDINANCE NO. 162 is hereby amended to read as follows:
2. All employees who have less than four years of service
shall accrue vacation on the basis of 5/6 day of each
full month of service.
3. All employees who have more than four but less than 15
years of service shall accrue vacation on the basis of
1 1/4 days for each full month of service.
3. This ORDINANCE shall take effect upon the expiration of thirty (30)
days after [ts passage and shall be posted by the Clerk of SOUTH TAHOE
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT at three (3) public places in said DISTRICT at
least one week before the expiration of said per[od after [ts passage and

shall further be published in the Tahoe Daily Tribune, a newspaper of
general circulation, one (1) time only, at least (1) one week before the
expiration of said per[od.
4. This ORDINANCE amends Sect[on 20-a.2.c. and Sect[on 22-
a. 1 and 2 of ORDINANCE NO. 162 as amended by ORDINANCE NO. 201
of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT. In all other respects said
ORDINANCE NO. 162, passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of
said DISTRICT on February 15, 1968, as amended by ORDINANCE NO. 174,
passed and adopted by said Board of Directors of said DISTRICT on August 15,
1968, and ORDINANCE NO. 201, passed and adopted by said Board of
Directors of said DISTRICT on August 6, 1970, is herebyrat[f[ed, confirmed
and in full force and effect.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a duty held meeting of the Board of Directors
of the SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT on October 15, 1970, by the
following vote:
