Ordinance No. 186 - RetiredSTPUD:DWC:cc 6-19 -69 ORDINANCE NO. 186 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 162 AND PROVIDING FOR A PREMIUM PAYMENT BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, E1 Dorado County, State of California, as follows: ' of 1. That Section 11, Hours Of Work.f./ Ordinance No. 162, is hereby amended to read as follows: "The General Manager may require any employee to work assigned shifts with hours other than 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., or days other than Monday through Friday. When regular employees are assigned to work specified 8 - hour shifts regularly with hours other than 8:00A.M. to 5:00 P.M., or days other than Monday through Friday, such regular employees shall receive a rate of pay equal to their monthly rate, plus five (5) percent premium payment, except all regular employees assigned to work the midnight to 8:00 A.M. (graveyard) shift regularly for one or more days per week shall receive a rate of pay equal to their monthly rate plus ten (10) percent premium payment. The five or ten percent premium shall not apply to any overtime pay earned due to extra hours work or paid in lieu of holidays. 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon the expiration of thirty (30) days after its passage and shall be posted by the Clerk of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, at three (3) public places in said District at least one week before the expiration of said period after its passage and shall further be published in the Lake Tahoe News, a newspaper of general circulation, one (1) time only, at least one (1) week before the expiration of said period. 3. This Ordinance amends only Section 11. f. of Ordinance No. 162, of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT. In all other respects said Ordinance No. 162, as amended by Ordinance No. 174 of said District is hereby ratified, confirmed, and in full force and effect.
