AN ORDINANCE OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC
UTILITY DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR THE
COMPENSATION OF THE FINANCE OFFICER
OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY
DISTRICT
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of the SOUTH
TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT, County of E1 Dorado, State of
California, as follows:
That the Finance officer is an Officer of the District,
and shall receive as compensation for said office, the sum of
TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2~000.00) per month, and
WHEREAS, the duties of the Finance officer are as
follows:
Under direction of the District Manager, is responsible
for the management of the Financial Division, is responsible
for the Management of Office and all Clerical Staff in the
Customer Service Department (Water and Sewer Departments);
serves as District Finance officer, and
WHEREAS, other duties will be performed as follows:
1. Prepares Budgets and Financing Plans.
2. Participates in Board of Directors Meetings
and Workshops.
3. Assists Manager in the development of District
Programs and Strategy.
4. Assists in the Management of Day to Day District
Operations.
5. Maintains Accounting System and Financial
Records of the District.
6. Maintains Bank Accounts and Investments of Funds.
7. Maintains Bond Funds and Other Revenues.
8. Administers the Billing of Water and Sewer Charges.
9. Administers the District Purchasing Program.
10. Assists the District Bond Counsel and Auditors.
11. Manages District Payroll
12. Reports to Board of Directors on District
Financial Matters.
Ordinance No. 295
Upon adoption, this Ordinance shall be posted by
the Clerk of the South Tahoe Public Utility District in
three (3) public places, at least one (1) week before
the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption,
and shall be published in the Tahoe Daily Tribune, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed and published
in said District one (1) time, at least one (1) week
before the expiration of said thirty (30) days after its
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of JUNE 1979,
at a duly held meeting of the Board of Directors of the
SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT by the following
vote:

Directors -Cocking, Fieldcamp
Jones and Kashuba.
NOES: 'None
ABSENT: Director Olson
