Ordinance No. 269 - SupersededORDINANCE NO. 269
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
250 AND REQUIRING CERTAIN WATER CONSER-
VATION MEASURES
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of South Tahoe Public
Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows:
WHEREAS, Mr. C. Mark Smith, Regional Director, Economic
Development Administration has required as a condition of an Economic
Development Grant under P.L. 94-369 to construct the Johnson Boulevard
Interceptor Sewer Project, that the District submit a plan detailing water
conservation requirements in all new construction to be serviced by said
Sewer Project, and
WHEREAS, the City of South Lake Tahoe adopted Ordinance No. 490
requiring certain water conservation measures on April 12, 1977, and
WHEREAS, the County of E1 Dorado adopted Ordinance No. 1766
requiring certain water conservation measures on March 15, 1977.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered as follows:
1. That Section 2.4 of Ordinance No. 250, be added as follows:
Alt new construction and additions to existing construction must comply
with the requirements of the above stated City of South Lake Tahoe and/or
County of E1 Dorado Water Conservation Ordinance attached hereto and made
a part hereof prior to connection to the South Tahoe Public Utility District's
water system.
2. This Ordinance amends by addition o Section 2 of Ordinance No.
250, passed and adopted by said Board of Directors of said District on
August 29, 1974, and as amended by Ordinance No. 257, passed and adopted
by said Board on October 30, 1975, and as amended by Ordinance No. 261,
passed and adopted by said Board on September 2, 1976. In all other respects,
said Ordinance No. 250, 257, and 261, is ratified, confirmed, and in full
force and effect.
3. Upon adoption, this Ordinance shall be posted in three (3) public
places, at least one (1) week before the expiration of thirty (30) days after
its adoption, and shall be published in the Tahoe Daily Tribune, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed and published in said District one (1) time, at
least one (1) week before the expiration of said thirty (30) days after its
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 15th day of August, 1977, at a duly
held meeting of the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility
District by the following vote:
