ORDINANCE NO. 415
AN ORDINANCE OF TttE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
ADOPTING WATER ENTERPRISE FUND BUDGET FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1989-90
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of South Tahoe
5 Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as follows
6 1. The Board of Directors finds that prior to adopting
7 this Ordinance, the Board held a public meeting at which time
8 oral and written presentatioins to the Water Enterprise Fund
9 Budget for Fiscal Year 1989-90 were received as part of a
l0 regularly scheduled meeting on April 6, 1959.
I1 2. The Board of Directors further finds that the
12 notice of time and place of said meeting, including a general
13 explanation of the matter to be considered at said meeting and
14 a statement that the data indicating the amount of the cost or
15 estimated cost required to provide water service and the revenue
16 source anticipated to provide such service, is available to the
17 public, was published at least 14 days prior to said meeting.
18 3. The Board of Directors also finds that at least
19 10 days prior to said public meeting, said data was available
20 to the public.
4. The Board of Directors further finds that noticed
22 Public workshop meetings were held on the afternoon of April 6,
23 1989 and in the evening of April 3, 1989.
5. The Board of Directors specifically finds that the
25 water service charges being charged are for the following
26 ~ses:
27 A. Meeting operating expenses, including employee
28 ~age rates and fringe benefits;

materials;
B. Purchasing or leasing supplies, equipment, or
C. Meeting financial reserve needs and requirements;
D. Obtaining funds for capital projects necessary to
maintain service within existing service areas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of South
Tahoe Public Utility District this 20th day of April, 1989 by
the following vote:
AYES: Directors Jones, Olson, Mason, Walker, Sinclair
