AN ORDINANCE OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AMENDING ARTICLE XII, SEWER RATE SCHEDULE,
ADDING SCHEDULE NO. 7 OF ORDINANCE NOS. 359 AND 397, AND
RESOLUTION NO. 2524
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as
follows:
1. The Board of Directors finds that prior to adopting
this Ordinance, the Board held a public meeting at which time
oral and written presentations to the sewer service charge
adopted pursuant to this Ordinance were received as part of an
adjourned regular meeting on May 7, 1990.
2. The Board of Directors further finds that the notice of
time and place of said meeting, including a general explanation
of the matter to be considered at said meetings and a statement
that the data indicating the amount of the cost or estimated
cost required to provide sewer service for which service charges
are adopted pursuant to this Ordinance, and the revenue source
anticipated to provide such service, including general fund
revenues, is available to the public, was published at least 14
days prior to said meeting.
3. The Board of Directors also finds that at least 10 days
prior to said public meeting, said data was available to the
public.
4. The Board of Directors further finds that additional
public meetings were held on April 2, April 5, and May 3, 1990
and public workshops on April 11 and April 17, 1990, on the
proposed charges adopted pursuant to this Ordinance.
5. The Board of Directors specifically finds that the
sewer service charges herein adopted are for the following
purposes:
A. Meeting operating expenses, including employee
wage rates and fringe benefits;
B. Purchasing or leasing supplies, equipment, or
materials;
C.Meeting financial reserve needs and requirements;
D. Obtaining funds for capital projects necessary to
maintain service within existing service areas.
6. On May 17, 1990 the proposed sewer budget was duly
adopted by Resolution No. 2524.
7. Article XII, Sewer Rate Schedules, of Ordinance No.
359, as amended by Resolution No. 2524 and Ordinance No. 397 is
hereby further amended by adding SchedUle No. 7 thereto to read
as follows:
ARTICLE XII
SEWER RATE SCHEDULE
SCHEDULE NO. 7
A service rate surcharge of $0.42 (forty-two cents) per
sewer unit per month will be collected for the fiscal year
1990-91. Said surcharge shall not be chargeable for sewer
service rendered after fiscal year 1990-91.

8. This Ordinance adds only Schedule No. 7, Sewer Rate
Schedules, Article XII, of Ordinance No. 359, as amended by
Resolution No. 2524 and Ordinance No. 397. In all other
respects, Ordinances Nos. 359, 372, 392 and 397 remain in full
force and effect.
