AN ORDINANCE OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
AMENDING ARTICLE XII, WATER RATE SCHEDULES,
ADDING SCHEDULES NOS. 6 AND 7 AND
AMENDING SCHEDULES I AND II OF ORDINANCE NO. 360 AND
RESOLUTION NO. 2465
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Directors of South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, as
follows:
1. The Board of Directors finds that prior to adopting
this Ordinance, the Board held a public meeting at which time
oral and written presentations to the water service charge
adopted pursuant to this Ordinance were received as part of a
regularly scheduled meeting on May 7, 1990.
2. The Board of Directors further finds that the notice of
time and place of said meeting, including a general explanation
of the matter to be considered at said meetings and a statement
that the data indicating the amount of the cost or estimated
cost required to provide water service for which service charges
are adopted pursuant to this Ordinance, and the revenue source
anticipated to provide such service, including general fund
revenues, is available to the public, was published at least 14
days prior to said meeting.
3. The Board of Directors also finds that at least 10 days
prior to said public meeting, said data was available to the
public.
4. The Board of Directors further finds that additional
public meetings were held on April 2, April 5, and May 3, 1990
and public workshops on April 11 and April 17, 1990, on the
proposed charges adopted pursuant to this Ordinance.
5. The Board of Directors specifically finds that the
Water service charges herein adopted are for the following
purposes:
A. Meeting operating expenses, including employee
wage rates and fringe benefits;
B. Purchasing or leasing supplies, equipment, or
materials;
C. Meeting financial reserve needs and requirements;
D. Obtaining funds for capital projects necessary to
maintain service within existing service areas.
6. On May 17, 1990 the proposed water budget was duly
adopted by Resolution No. 2365.
7. Article XII, Water Rate Schedules, Schedules 1 and 2 of
Ordinance 360, as amended by Resolution No. 2465, is hereby
amended to read as follows:

The service rate surcharge of Schedules 6 and 7 will be
collected for the fiscal year 1990-91. Said surcharge shall not
be chargeable for water service after fiscal year 1990-91.
9. This Ordinance amends only Schedules Nos. 1 and 2 and
adds Schedules Nos. 6 and 7, Water Rate Schedules, Article XII,
of Ordinance No. 360, as amended by Resolution No. 2465. In all
other respects, said Ordinance No. 360 including all amendments
thereto remain in full force and effect.
