RESOLUTION NO. 1295
A RESOLUTION ORDERING REDUCTION OF ASSESSMENTS
AND INCREASE IN ASSESSMENT NO. 170
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1968-1
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe
Public Utility District, E1Dc~ado County, California, that
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the project under Resolution
of Intention No. 1274, adopted by the Board of Directors of said
District on May 22, 1969, was $502,075.90;
WHEREAS, following the opening of bids for the work said
estimate may be reduced to $465,718.20;
WHEREAS, the owners of a parcel of land designated as as-
sessment and diagram No. 170, being assessor's parcel No. 33-180-
20, have requested in writing that one additional lateral be in-
stalled to serve said parcel of land and that the individual as-
sessment for said parcel of land be increased by the sum of
$200.00, by reason of which no notice or hearing is necessary in
connection with said requested changes;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
1. That one additional lateral to serve said assc~sor's
parcel No. 33-180-20 be added to the work to be done pursuant to
these proceedings, and that the individual assessmc~t for said
assessment No. 170 be increased by the sum of $200.00 (subject to
the reduction hereinafter ordered).
2. That the estimated contribution from the construction
fund of and for Meyers Improvement District No. U-1 for trunk
sewers to be installed as a part of said project be, and the same
shall, remain $91,000.00~ that the total assessment be, and the
same is hereby~ reduced to $374,718.20 (which amount includes said
$200.00 increase in assessment No. 170).

That the individual assessments shall be reduced as
(a) The number of units for which assessment and dia-
gram No. 173 is assessed shall be reduced to zero, making a re-
duction in said assessment NOo 17B in the amount of $711.00, and
the lateral to serve said parcel of land shall be omitted from
the work to be done and said assessment No. 17B shall be reduced
by reason thereof by an additional sum of $200.00, making a total
reduction in said assessment No. 17B in the amount of $911.00,
leaving an assessment therefor in the amount of $152.00.
(b) All of the individual assessments within Area A
shall each be reduced in an amount equal to $64.00 times the num-
ber of units for which each is assessed, respectively, and all of
the individual assessments within Area B shall each be ro4uced in
an amount equal to $1.55 times the number of units for which each
is assessed, respectively, (for which purpose the reduced number
of units for assessment No. 17B as hereinabove provided shall be
used).
