RESOLUTION NO .1286
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE TO APPROVE OF THE PROPOSED
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION IN PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS
UNDER APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT. AND ASSESS-
MENT BOND ACTS~ AND TO APPROVE OF THE MAP SHOWING
PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF THE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1968-1
RESOI,~ED~ by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District~ E1 Dorado County~ California~ that
WHEREAS~ it is the intention of this Board to undertake appro-
priate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the
acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage system in or for
said Distrtct~ said acquisitions and improvements being more par~ic-
ularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference~
WHEREAS~ it is the intention of this Board to assess the costs
of said acquisitions and improvements and the expenses inclder~tal
thereto upon an assessment district~ the exterior boundaries of which
are the coterminous exterior boundaries of the composite and co~soi~-
dated area more particularly shown on a map desi¢nated '~Map Showing
Proposed Boundaries of Assessment District 1968-1'~ on fi].e :in t~e
office of the Clerk of said District~ which indicates by a boundary
ii. ne the extent of the territory included.in the proposed district
and which shal. 1 govern for all details as to the extent, of the assess~
ment district~ to which reference is hereby made~
WHEREAS~ the public interest and convenience will be served by
the making of said acquisitions and improvements and the levying of
said assessments.~
WHEREAS, the land to be assessed lies within unincorporated
territory in the County of E1 Dorado, State of California;
NOW~ THERBFORE~ iT IS 0RDERED~ as follows~
lo That request be~ and the same is hereby~ made that the
form of Resolution of Intention of the South Tahoe f~bi~ic Utility
District and the map indicating by a boundary line the extent of
territory included In the proposed assessment district be approved
bythe City Council of the City of South Lake Tahoe~ State of
California°
2o That the Clerk of this District be~ and he is hereby,
directed to file with the City Clerk of the City of South l~.ke
Tahoe a certified copy of this resolution~ together with cop~ies
of the proposed Resolution of Intention and said Map Showing
Proposed Boundaries of Assessment District 1968-1o

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a fuil~ true and
correct copy of a resolution duly and regularly adopted by the

The installation and construction of sanitary sewer systems,
including collection sewers~ necessary pumping stations and
force mains~ manholes, flushing devices, rodholes~ wye
branches~ laterals and appurtenances on streets and roads
and in easements to be acquired therefor,'to serve each of
the subdivisions, parts of subdivisions and other lands
within the boundaries of the proposed assessmeut~district,
as hereinafter described.(including but not by way of limita-
tion, a portion of the W. D. Barton Tract, the TH-M-G Tract,
Rolling Wood Heights Subdivision and miscellaneous parcels
in the vicinity or.the intersections of Sawmill Road and
Incline Road and U.S.~Highway 50);
The acquisition within the boundaries of said assessment dis-
trict of a right of service and use in the existing sanitary
sewerage and sewage treatment and disposal facilities of said
District, other than the facilities described in clause (c)
hereof, which help provide service to and which are of bene-
fit to the properties within said area, for~those parcels of
land only which have not heretofore acquired such right of
service and use, being all of the parcels within said.pro-
posed assessment district except the parcels in the W. D. Bar-
ton Tract and Assessor's Parcel No. 32-172-01 (being identi-
fied on the map showing proposed boundaries of said assess-
ment district as parcel No. 125), and provided further that
for those Parcels of land for which a portion thereof will
not be susceptible to service from the facilities described
in clause ~a" above without construction of additional public
sewer lines (to be identified on the assessment diagram) said
right of service and use to be acquired shall be limited to
that portion of said parcels of land for which service will
be immediately available from the facilities described in "a''~
above;
~The acquisition w£thin the boundaries of said assessment dis-
'trict of a right of service and .use in the existing sanitary
sewage facilities of Improvement District No. U-1 of said~
Utility District which help provide service to and which are
of benefit to the properties within said area, such right of
service and use to cover and inclUde only one normal residen-
tial building for each assessmentmparcel (being three units
as defined for the purpos.e of Ordinance No. lB1 of said Util-
ity District);
The acquisition of all facilities, lands and easements and
the construction of all work auxiliary~ to any of the above
and necessary to complete the same.
