RESOLUTION NO. 1252 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT CALLING FOR NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR RISING WELL MODIFICATIONS BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT1 El Dorado County, California, as follow s: 1. That the Board of Directors hereby calls for a Notice to Contractors for sealed proposals for RISING WELL MODIFICATIONS, Consisting of relocating three influent force mains at the rising well of the treatment plant head works, said Notice to Contractors to be in the form of Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. 2. Said sealed proposals shall be received at the office of said District in South Lake Tahoe, California, at the Treatment Plant thereof (Mailing Address P.O. I NOTICE TO CONTRACTO~S Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the South Tahoe Public utility District, located at the Treatment Plant, South Lake Tahoe, California (Mailing Address: P.O. Box AU, South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, California 95705), until 3:00 p.m., April 17, 1969, at which time they will be publicly opened and read for construction of: RISING WELL MODIFICATIONS SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT The work contemplated consists of relocating three influent force mains at the rising well of the treatment plant headworks. In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, State of California, the South Tahoe Public utility District has ascertained the general applicable prevailing wage rates to be as shmqn in the Contract Documents. Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may be obtained at the office of Clair A. Hill & Associates, 1525 Court Street, P.O. Box 2088, Redding, California upon deposit of $5.00 per set. Contract Documents are available for examination at the same office. Contract Documents may also be inspected at the following locations: _ Builders Exchange, "D" and Industrial, South Lake Tahoe; Reno Builders Exchange, 310 South Wells Avenue, Reno, Nevada; Builders Exchange, 1331 "T" Street, Sacramento; and the office of the Clerk, South Tahoe Public utility District. A pre-bidders conference will be held at the Treatment Plant, at 1:30 p.m., on April 10, 1969, to answer questions of prospective bidders. No proposal will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 791, statutes of 1929, as amended, or Chapter 37, statutes of 1939, as amended, State of California.
