Resolution No. 1207WJML:RJH:gbb 10/22/68 RESOLUTION NO. 1207 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF EL DORADO TO APPROVE OF THE PROPOSED RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO BE ADOPTED IN PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS UNDER APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND AND TO APPROVE OF THE MAP ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS, SHOWING PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF THE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1968-1 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District~ E1 Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS~ it is the intention of this Board to undertake appro- priate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage system in or for said District~ said acquisitions and improvements being more partic- ularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; WHEREAS., it is the intention of this Board to assess the costs of said acquisitions and improvements and the expenses incidental thereto upon an assessment district, the exterior boundaries of which are the coterminous exterior boundaries of the composite and consoli- dated area more particularly shown on a map designated "Map Showing Proposed Boundaries of Assessment District 1968-1" on file in the office of the Clerk of said District, which indicates by a boundary line the extent of the territory included in the proposed district and which shall govern for all details as to the extent of the assess- ment district~ to which reference is hereby made; WHEREAS, the public interest and convenience will be served by the making of said acquisitions and improvements and the levying of said assessments; WHEREAS, the land to be assessed lies within unincorporated territory in the County of E1 Dorado, State of California; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows: lo That request be, and the same is hereby, made that the form of Resolution of Intention to be adopted by the South Tahoe Public Utility District and the map indicating by a boundary line the extent of territory included in the proposed assessment district be approved by the Board of Supervisors of the County of E1 Dorado, State of California. 2o That the Clerk of this District be, and he is hereby, di- rected to file with the Clerk of the County of E1 Dorado a certified copy of this resolution, together with copies of the proposed Resolu- tion of Intention and said Map Showing Proposed Boundaries of Assess- ment District 1968- 1. President ATTEST: South Tahoe Public Utility District Clerk and - ~ ~ tary I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and cor- rect copy of a resolution duly and regularly adopted by the Board of Direc'tors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County~ California, at a meeting thereof duly held on the 17th day of October~ 1968, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor thereof, Directors: Wakeman, Kortes, Fesler, Hegarty, Ream NOES~ Directors: None ABSENT~ Directors: None --Clerk and Ex-offiCio Secretary South Tahoe Public Utility District -2- b) c) d) The installation and construction of sanitary sewer systems, including collection sewers, necessary pumping stations and force mains, manholes, flushing devices, rodholes, wye branches, laterals and appurtenances on streets and roads and in easements to be acquired therefor, to serve each of the subdivisions, parts of subdivisions and other lands within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district, as hereinafter described (including but not by way of limita- tion, a portion of the Wo Do Barton Tract, the TH-M-G Tract, Rolling Wood Heights Subdivision and miscellaneous parcels in the vicinity of the intersections of Sawmill Road and Incline Road and UoSo Highway 50); The acquisition within the boundaiies of said assessment dis- trict of a right of service and use in the existing sanitary sewerage and sewage treatment and disposal facilities of said District, other than the facilities described in clause (c) hereof, which help provide service to and which are of bene- fit to the properties within said area~ for those parcels of land only which have not heretofore acquired such right of service and use~ being all of the parcels within said pro- posed assessment district except the parcels in the W. D. Bar- ton Tract and Assessor~s Parcel NOo 32-172-01 (being identi- fied on the map showing proposed boundaries of said assess- ment district as parcel No. 125); The acquisition within the boundaries of said assessment dis- trict of a right of' service and use in the existing sanitary sewage facilities of Improvement District No. U-1 of said Utility District which help provide service to and which are of benefit to the properties within said area, such right of service and use to cover and include only one normal residen- tial building for each assessment parcel (being three units as defined for the purpose of Ordinance No° 181 of said Util- ity District); The acquisition of all facilities, lands and easements and · the construction of all work auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to complete the same.
