RESOLUTION NO. 1210
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
THE COUNTY OF EL DORADO TO APPROVE OF THE PROPOSED
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO BE ADOPTED IN PROCEEDINGS
FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY
SEWERS UNDER APPROPRIATE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AND
ASSESSMENT BOND ACTS, AND TO APPROVE OF THE MAP
SHOWING PROPOSED BOUNDARIES OF THE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1968-2
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that
WHEREAS~ it is the intention of this Board to undertake appro-
priate special assessment and assessment bond proceedings for the
acquisition and construction of a sanitary sewerage system in or for
said District, said acquisitions and improvements being more partic-
ularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference;
WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to assess the costs
of said acquisitions and improvements and the expenses incidental
thereto upon an assessment district, the exterior boundaries of which
are the coterminous exterior boundaries of the composite and consoli-
dated area more particularly shown on a map designated "Map Showing
Proposed Boundaries of Assessment District 1968-2" on file in the
office of the Clerk of said District, which indicates by a boundary
line the extent of the territory included in the proposed district
and which shall govern for all details as to the extent of the assess-
ment district~ to which reference is hereby made;
WHEREAS, the public interest and convenience will be served by
the making of said acquisitions and improvements and the levying of
said assessments;
WHEREAS, the land to be assessed lies within unincorporated
territory in the County of E1 Dorado, State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
lo That request be, and the same is hereby, made that the form
of Resolution of Intention to be adopted by the South Tahoe Public
Utility District and the map indicating by a boundary line the extent
of territory included in the proposed assessment district be approved
by the Board of Supervisors of the County of E1 Dorado, State of
California.
2o That the Clerk of this District be, and he is hereby, di-
rected to file with the Clerk of the County of E1 Dorado a certified
copy of this resolution, together with copies of the proposed Resolu-
tion of Intention and said Map Showing Proposed Boundaries of Assess-
ment District 1968-~.

The installation and construction of sanitary sewer sys-
tems, including collection sewers, necessary pumping
stations and force mains, manholes, flushing devi~es, rod-
holes, Wye branches~ laterals and appurtenances on streets
and roads and in easements to be acquired therefor, to
serve each of the subdivisions, parts of subdivisions and
other lands within the boundaries of the proposed assess-
ment district, as hereinafter described (including approxi-
mately 196 parcels located adjacent to Fallen Leaf Lake);
The acquisition within said boundaries of a right of ser-
vice and use in the existing sanitary sewerage and sewage
treatment and disposal facilities of said Utility District,
other than the facilities described in clause (c) hereof,
which help provide service to and which are of benefit to
the properties within said area;
The acquisition within said boundaries of aright of ser-
vice and use in the sanitary sewerage facilities constructed,
being constructed and to be constructed by said Utility Dis-
trict for the Pope Baldwin Recreation Area, E1 Dorado
National Forest~ pursuant to and as described in Contract
NOo GS-OOT-1708(TP) between said Utility District and the
United States of America, dated June 20/25, 1968, which help
provide service to and which are of benefit to the proper-
ties within said area~ for those parcels of land only the
sewage from which will constitute "non-Government loads" as
such term is used in said Contract No. GS-00T-1708(TP) and
amendments thereto°
The acquisition of all facilities~ lands and easements and
the construction of all work auxiliary to any of the above
and necessary to complete the same°
