Resolution No. 1316 RESOLUTION NO. 1316 A RESOLUTION ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 1968-1 RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South Tahoe Public Utility District, E1 Dorado County, California, that WHEREAS, the owners of the parcel of land designated on the assess- ment diagram as assessment number 35 is a public utility and said parcel of land is used for and in connection with said utility's water system and will not within the fozeseeable future require sanitary sewer fa- cilities; WHEREAS no lateral need be installed at this time for the parcel of land designated on the assessment diagram as assessment number 128; WHEREAS, the parcel of land designated on the assessment diagram as assessment number 144 is owned at this time by two separate owners and requires two separate laterals, said assessment parcel now being designated on the records of the county assessor as two parcels, to wit: numbers 33-141-10 and 33-141-11 (having formerly been number B3-141-09 as shown on said assessment diagram); and the portion of said assessment number 144, (in the amount of $2,6B0~30) attributable to each of said new parcels being as follows, to wit: $2,019~30 and $611.00, respectively); WHEREAS, the lateral included in said assessment number 144 will serve said assessor's parcel number 33-141-10, and the owner of said assessor's parcel number 33-141-11 has requested in writing that an additional lateral be installed for said parcel of land and the as- sessment attributable thereto, i.eo, $611.00, be increased by the sum of $200.00; WHEREAS, the owner of said assessor's parcel number ~-141-10 has paid in cash the aforesaid portion of said assessment number 1~4 attributable to said parcel, and the owner of said assessor's parcel number 33-141-11 has made the aforesaid written request, and otherwise the above mentioned changes do not affect the benefits to be derived from the improvements herein nor result in the increase of any assess- ments herein, by reason of which no notice and hearing is required with respect to the changes and modifications hereinafter ordered; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows: 1. The public interest, convenience and necessity require the following changes and modifications in the proceedings under Resolution of Intention No. 1274, sdopted by this Board on May 22, 1969, as subse- quently amended, and said changes and modifications are hereby ordered made, to wit: a) b) Reduction of assessment number 35 from $1,423.00 to $0o00, and elimination of the lateral to serve said parcel; Reduction of assessment number 128 in the amount of $200°00, from $1,250.60 to $1,050.60, and elimination of the lateral to serve said parcel; c) Amendment of the assessment diagram and assessment roll, as heretofore confirmed in these proceedings, to show the parcel of land designated thereon and therein as assessment number 144 as two assessment parcels~ as follows: one parcel to conform to assessor's parcel number ~3-141-10 and to be designated as assessment number 187, with an assessment in the amount of $2,019o~0~ and one parcel to conform to assessor's parcel number 33-141-11 and to be designated as assessment number 188, with an assessment in the amount of $811o00o The total assessment in these proceedings is hereby reduced from $374,718.20 to $373,295°20° 3. The District Engineer shall and he is hereby directed to change and modify the plans and specifications of the improvements to conform hereto, and to make said changes on the assessment diagram and the assessment roll, as set forth in paragraph 1 hereof, on the face of the assessment filed in the offices of the District Secretary and District Engineer, and the County Surveyor of the County of E1 Dorado is hereby authorized and directed to make said changes on the face of -2- the diagram and assessment roll as recorded in his office~ 4~ The District Secretary shall and he is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the District Engineer and to said County Surveyor as their authorization to makethe changes herein directed to be made by them.
