A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
SANITARY SEWERAGE PROJECT NOo 1961-1
RESOLVED~ by the Board of' Directors of the South Tahoe Public
Utility District~ E1 Dorado County~ California~ that
WHEREAS~ said Board did on the 6th day of November ,
19 69~ adopt its Resolution ordering the District Engineer to
make and file with said Board an amended assessment of all parcels
of property~ the former assessments upon which~ under Resolution
of Intention NO o 287 of said Board~ adopted March 16 , ,,
19 61......~ are designated upon the original assessment and diagram
and confirmed by said Board on. July 6 , 1961.., and
recorded in the office of the County Surveyor of the County of E1
Dorado as Diagram and Assessment Nos° 385, 384, 694, 621 and 147
;
WHEREAS~ said District ~.gineer did on the 6th day of
November .... ~ 11.9 69 .~ pursuant to Resolution ordering same,
file with the Secret ~.y of said Board an amended assessment and
diagram~
WHEREAS~ said Board fixed Thursday~ the 4th day of
December __~ 1.9 6___~__9 ~ as the time for hearing said
amended assessment and caused no~i~e of said hearing to be pub-
lished in the Tahoe Daily Tribune ..... ~ the first
of which publications was .~.z~t. een days before said hearing, as
appears from the affidawi~t of' publication on file in the office
of the District Secretary~ and
WHEREAS~ at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment and all~ matters and things pertaining to said
amended assessment were duly heard and considered by said Board;
NOW~ THEREFORE~ IT IS 0RDERED~ that said amended assessment
and diagram filed with the Secretary of said Board pursuant to
Resolution ordering same, be~ and the same is hereby~ ratified,
approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Secretary of said District
shall deliver said amended assessment to the District Engineer,
together with a certified copy of this Resolution thereto attached,
and said Engineer shall thereupon record said amended assessment
in his office and in the office of the County Surveyor with a
certificate at the end thereof by the Secretary of said District
that it is the amended assessment approved by the Board of Directors
on December 4 ~ 1~9 .
The District Engineer shall note opposite the several assess-
ments in said original Diagram and Assessment that it has been
displaced by said amended assessment~ giving its date and shall
credit upon such amended assessment.all payments theretofore made.
upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment has
been recorded~ the District ~gineer shall cause the original
assessment involved to be cancelled.
The Secretary shall, file the amended assessment as confirmed
or modified by the Board of Directors with the County Auditor,
who shall annually thereafter enter upon the assessment roll the
installments becoming due on each component part of the original
parcel opposite the description of the respective parcels'so
assessed.
