RESOLUTION NO. 2763-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE SOUTH TAHOE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT
ADOPTING TORT CLAIMS FORM, NOTICES, AND INSTRUCTIONS
WHEREAS, generally, the Tort Claims Act requires that all actions against a public
entity seeking money or damages must be preceded by a proper claim; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 910.4 has been amended to require public
agencies to provide a claim form for use by claimants; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 910.4 requires that all claimants use the
form provided "in order that his or her claim is deemed in conformity with" the statutory
content requirements;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the South
Tahoe Public Utility District is adopting a resolution adopting a claim form that is in
conformity with the requirements of Government Code Section 910.4 as follows:
Pursuant to the mandate contained in Government Code Section 910.4, the Board
of Directors hereby adopts the attached claim form, notices, and instructions for all tort
claims against the South Tahoe Public Utility District for money or damages.
The attached Statement of Investment Policy is hereby adopted and becomes a
part of this Resolution by reference herein.

Tahoe Public Utility District, this 19th day of June, 2003.
